2 Months

I apologize for the nearly month long delay in posting this information.  I can’t tell you the precise reason for my tardiness, could be trying to keep up with four kids, or my inability to convince the triplets that picture taking is fun on their 2 month birthday, or the large number of Dexter DVDs that had been arriving in our home.  Either way I started this post over two weeks ago and I’m just sending now.  We are coming up on 3 months which I will try to post more promptly so you will have the most up to date comings and goings of our crazy clan.
I drafted a list because when your big audacious goal for the day is that everyone brushes their teeth, complete sentences can be challenging:
  1. Everyone is smiling boys for the first time and the rest of us because they are starting to sleep longer at night.
  2. Boys are now sleeping from 8 to 2 am and then from 2 to 6 am, this is progress.
  3. Managed to leave the house as an entire family for neighborhood block party, only needed 3 extra adults and 25 minutes of loading time to go 1 block for 2.5 hours.
  4. I learned to feed two babies at once, tried three one time not fun but it worked.
  5. No more TGIF instead TGIK (Thank God Its Karen our wonderful baby nurse who comes 4 nights a week.)
  6. Survived our first hurricane, 36 hours with no electricity doesn’t actually make much difference when all you’re doing all day is feeding babies.
  7. Fletch back from Minnesota, we had a rough first few days home.  When I asked him why he said “I’m saving all my goodness for schools days.”
  8. Fletcher started a new class with a new teacher, he loves school and being with kids his own age.
  9. The boys are rolling from their bellies to their backs
  10. Their beautiful eyelashes have started to come in, I’m hoping for long, thick, dark ones like Fletch’s.
  11. First all three together Dr. Appt.
  12. Nathan weighs 10 lbs 7 0z, 23 inches
  13. Hudson weighs 9 lbs 11 oz, 22 inches
  14. Cooper weighs 10 lbs 4 oz, 21 3/4 inches
  15. Keep in mind we have a piece of paper with one name crossed out and another written on top because we actually confused the babies for one entire round of measurements.  The good news is they all doubled their weight and are well on their way to the top of the percentages like their big and older brother.
  16. The Yankees clinched the division, great if all goes well, one more month of no weekends with Poppa.
  17. Grandma Dot continues to cross state lines to help out regularly and Aunt Linda, GG, Littlebit, and WaWa all crossed the country to do the same.  We even got a couple of feedings out of our good friend Kristine, when she overnighted in NYC.

Really Mom?

We're just going to take turns at crazy

Clearly not our idea of a good time
