**SPOILER ALERT: Unlike the movie, this blog post includes cute pictures and inane details of our triplet life. It does not include a super scary, eight-legged alien who consumes his/her human captors.**
Today the triplets are 8 months old. I really don’t know where all that time went. Every day is so full I’ve forgotten much of the last year +, good thing I’ve been blogging. Here’s some news about what’s going on with the boys these days:
-Every one has been very healthy (as I write this I am knocking on wood and crossing all my fingers and toes.) Aside from check ups we haven’t had any extra visits to the doctor’s office.
-I am biased but as far as I can tell these are the smiliest babies I have ever seen. They smile when they go to bed, when they wake up in the morning and almost every minute in between.
-No teeth yet, lots of predictions that they must be on the way because of all the drool but the teeth still haven’t shown themselves.
-They love to eat, so far they’ve had bananas, avocados (mom is not a big fan of the look of these), apples, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, yogurt, peas, green beans, and asparagus. I can’t say that they loved all of them but they didn’t all end up on the bibs, table, or floor.
-All three of them get up on their hands and knees and rock back and forth. It looks like a treadmill for babies. No forward movement but they have great form.
-We’re still getting in lots of nap time. Generally, they sleep three times a day for 1 to 2 hours at time.
-We don’t have too many adventures out of the house but the early spring means we go for occasional walks. Last week we took the boys to Fletch’s class for Mystery Reader time. He was very proud to introduce his three brothers to his buddies.
Now for their latest glamour shots:
