Setting aside a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend, with my fantastic mom, the past week or so has been filled with grief. I am most grateful that it is not my own, but it doesn’t lessen the crushing sorrow that has struck those around me. There’s nothing I can do or say that will change these things but I want to do something. So, this isn’t much but it is my effort at doing something.
This is one of my favorite quotes, has been forever: I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.–Robert Fulghum
